Shirley Sawallisch

Shirley Ann Sawallisch, 93, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at her home. She was born on August 23, 1928, in Neenah, WI, to the late Harold and Mabel (Kuhr) Pearson. She married the love of her life, Herbert Sawallisch on February 14, 1948, in Marengo, IL. Shirley is loved and will be deeply missed by her sons, Herbert (Kathy) Sawallisch, Jeff (Angela) Sawallisch; grandchildren, Chad (Debbie) Sawallisch, Scott Sawallisch, JoAnna (Paul) Cray, Jerrica (Tyler Andrews) Sawallisch; great grandchildren, Andrew Janisch, Tyler Sawallisch, Alyssa Sawallisch, Rhianna Sawallisch, Lily Sawallisch, Steven Cray, Noah Cray; brother, Ronald Pearson. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mabel; beloved husband, Herbert; daughters, Pamela Sawallisch, Holly Sawallisch; siblings, Betty Silagy, Mary Brooks, Ralph Pearson. There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. There will be a funeral service on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Bible Baptist Church in Belvidere, IL beginning at 11:00 A.M. There will be a visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment in Marengo Cemetery in Marengo, IL. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
