Shirley Suhr

Shirley Mae Suhr, 87, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. She was born in Belvidere, IL on July 31, 1935, to the late Frank and Nora (Watkins) Miller. She married the love of her life, Edward Suhr, on October 9, 1955, in Belvidere, IL. Shirley is loved and will be deeply missed by her son, Larry (Susan) Suhr; grandchildren, Adam Suhr, Alicia Suhr, Allison Suhr, Abbigail Suhr, Anderson Suhr; great grandchild, Emma Suhr; sister, Bonnie Davidson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank, and Nora; beloved husband, Edward; brother, Roger Miller. There will be a funeral service at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, January 2, 2022, at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. until the time of service. Memorials can be made to the family in Shirley’s name.
