Shirley Ann Wykle

Shirley A Wykle, age 89 of Belvidere, IL, passed away Sunday, April 14,2025 at home after a brief illness. She was born March 21,1936 in Belvidere, IL. The daughter of Raymond and Clara (Bee)Builte. She married Leo Wykle on June 25,1955 in Belvidere, IL. Shirley worked at the Belvidere Bank in various roles until she retired in 1997. She was a life-long Belvidere resident, and she loved to travel, shopping for deals and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by daughter, Deborah (Robert) Mitchel of Machesney Park, IL, son Daniel R. Wykle of Belvidere, IL, her sister, Beverly Thornton of Madison, WI; grandchildren, Alexandra and Amanda Wykle of Surprise, AZ, and Nicholas J. Mitchel of Machesney Park, IL and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo; her parents, Raymond and Clara Builte; her brother, William Builte and sister, Joyce Dorris.
