Steven Anthony Meyerowitz, 39, of Poplar Grove, IL passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at his home. Son of Kenneth and Patti (Petracca) Meyerowitz, he was born on Monday, July 13, 1981 in Long Island, NY. Steve was a great son, brother, and friend to many. He was a kind spirited, loyal person and was happiest when the people he loved were happy! Steve loved to play games, watch movies, going to nature parks, and enjoyed fishing. He was a great man and was loved by so many people. Steve is survived by his mother, Patti; brother, Joseph (Theresa) Meyerowitz; sisters, Melissa (Kenneth) Balsewicz, Samantha (Joseph) Russo. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; son, Anthony Steven Meyerowitz. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. There will be a visitation after the service until 1:00 P.M. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
