Teresa Hjelmberg Obituary

Teresa Anne Hjelmberg, age 69, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022. Mrs. Hjelmberg moved to Powder Springs, GA in 2001. She worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at St. Joseph's Hospital in Belvidere, IL, St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford, IL, and Wellstar Health System in Georgia, retiring after 35 years of employment. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Nativity in Austell, GA. She was also active in the American Legion in Illinois, enjoyed bowling, and loved entertaining and being with friends. Survivors include: Husband of 20 years, John B. Hjelmberg; 2 Sons, Christopher (Erin) Crowley, and Benjamin Crowley (Candace Triplett); Brother, Tim (Karen) Morrall; 2 Twin Granddaughters, Annabella and Irelyn Crowley.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Belvidere Funeral Home and cremation service in Belvidere, IL. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teresa Hjelmberg's memory to the Alzheimer's Association @ www.act.alz.org.
