Theresa Cecelia Hancock

Theresa Cecelia Hancock, 84, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. She was born on April 20, 1939, in Pierz, Minnesota to the late Henry and Anna Zierer. She married the love of her life, Clarence Thomas Hancock on October19, 2001 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Rockford. She worked at Green Giant for 39 Years. Theresa was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere. She loved to garden, spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, go for long rides with Tom and shop with her daughters. She is loved and will be missed by her beloved husband, Tom Hancock; daughters, Debbie Bohlman, Pam Bohlman, Sherry (Chuck) Hendrickson, Roberta Bohlman; sons, Tommy (Tammy) Hancock, Curt (Tina) Hancock; grandchildren, Brandon Smaha, Austin Smaha, Leslie Hendrickson, Mitch (Kylie) Hendrickson, Nicole (Nick) Lynn, David Casey, Pharon (Guy) Banwart, Chelsea Hancock; great grandchildren, Kinsley, Hayes, Tatum, Makayla, Blake, Cameron, Emily, David Jr, Lillian, Kyler, Penelope, Paisley; brother, Henry Jr. (Nancy) Zierer; friend of 50 years, Nancy Paulson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Francis; sisters Ann and Jean. There will be a visitation Friday, August 18, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M at the Belvidere Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL. Interment in Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere, IL.
