Trevor Lawson Gilmore

Trevor Lawson Gilmore, 27, of Rockford, IL passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019. The son of Bruce and Julie (Blomquist) Gilmore, he was born on July 17, 1991 in Lake Forest, IL. He was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Rock Valley College, graduated with a welder certificate and went on to work for the Caldwell Group. An artist at heart, he was passionate about playing his guitar, and assembling and painting magnificent Warhammer characters. His quick wit and unique sense of humor endeared him to anyone who was lucky enough to know him. Trevor is loved and will be deeply missed by his father, Bruce (Laura) Gilmore; brother, Justin Gilmore; sister, Erica Gilmore. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julie. There will be a celebration of life from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 P.M. with Father Jim Swarthout officiating. There will be a second service at 4:00 P.M. at Ridgefield Presbyterian Church in Crystal Lake, IL with Pastor John Dillon officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Rosecrance Health Network at 1021 N. Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61107. Please note that donations are to go to the Harrison Campus.
