Betty Sue Briggs, 92, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019. The daughter of the late Crawford and Leota (Miller) Short, she was born on Saturday, June 25, 1927 in Belvidere, IL. She married Delbert W. Briggs on Friday, June 21, 1974 in Belvidere, IL. Betty is loved and will be deeply missed by her children, Ronald (Kay) Barton; Robert Briggs, Sheila Briggs; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Crawford and Leota; beloved husband, Delbert; and 3 siblings. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Highland Garden of Memories in Belvidere, IL.
