Blanca Estella Martinez, 46, of Rockford, IL passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at UW Health University Hospital in Madison, WI. The daughter of Jesus and Maria (Mendoza) Martinez she was born on Monday, February, 26, 1973 in Chicago, IL. Blanca is loved and will be deeply missed by her husband, Benjamin Delgado; mother, Maria Martinez; daughter, Bianca Delgado; son, Benjamin T. Delgado; grandson, Damian Martinez; brother, Jesus (Yolanda) Martinez; sisters, Maria (Jeff) Smith, Sandra (Ernesto) Lucio, Cristina (John P. Aguirre) Martinez, Jessica (Wilfrido) Lopez; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesus. There will be a visitation on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A rosary will be said at 2:00 P.M. A second visitation will take place from 9:00 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. on Monday, April 29, 2019. A funeral mass will begin at 10:00 at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL. Interment will be private. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
