Courtney Lynn Paulson, 43, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020. She was born on Thursday, September 23, 1976 in Rockford, IL to Jim Jackson and Laura (Falnes) Van Briesen. She married the love of her life, Richard Paulson on Friday, July 5, 2002 in Rockford, IL. Courtney is loved and will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Richard Paulson; parents, Jim (Becky) Jackson, Laura (Jim) Van Briesen; grandparents, Ron Butler, Julius (Margaret) Jackson; son, Conner Paulson; daughter, Taylor Paulson; brothers, Justin (Jordyn) Deskins, Adam Rossier, Todd (Kelsey) Rossier, Ryan Light; sisters, Amy (Michael) Childs, Dawn (Aaron) Aaronson, Jennifer Files, Briana (Josh) Russom; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Diane Butler. There will be a visitation on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL, beginning at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be private. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
