Dennis Albert Schoenwolf, 70, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019. Son of the late Gottlieb and Helen (Kopleski) Schoenwolf, he was born on Wednesday, June 1, 1949 in Oaklawn, IL. He married the love of his life, Wanda Freeman, on Saturday, June 12, 1971 in Dekalb, IL. Dennis is loved and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Wanda; son, Adam (Carmen) Schoenwolf; daughter, Stephanie (Sean) Murphy; grandchildren, Josh, David, Bridgette, Jeremy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gottlieb and Helen; daughter, Laura Schoenwolf. There will be a visitation on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere, IL. A funeral service will begin at 5:00 P.M. with Pastor Scott Nellis officiating. Interment will be private. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
