Isabel Rivera, 50, of Blue Island, IL, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019. She was born on Tuesday, December 23, 1969 in Chicago, IL to Fernando and Socorro (Rocha) Paz. Isabel is loved and will be deeply missed by her husband, Lucio Rivera; son, Bernardo (Juanita Vargas) Rivera; daughter, Guadalupe Rivera; mother, Socorro Rocha; brothers, Francisco (Maria) Avila, Agustine Avila, Salvador Avila. She was preceded in death by her father, Fernando; brother, Bernardo Avila. There will be a visitation on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Darwin Flores officiating. A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
