Jane Frances Wasiak, 94, of Belvidere, IL passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Presence St. Anne Center in Rockford. She was born July 21, 1925 in Worcester, Massachusetts to the late Stephan and Helen (Toruto) Charko. She married the love of her life, Henry Gregory Wasiak January 8, 1955 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Jane and Henry met when she heard him playing the violin with the orchestra that he was a part of. She worked for Worcester County Treasurer’s office and was an interpreter for a polish radio station. She loved to drive her yellow Cadillac convertible and she loved her trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. She is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Lisa (David) Kummerow; grandchildren, Robert Gerald (Rachel) Rock III, Joli (Matthew) Irvine DiManno, Alexi Rae Irvine; great grandchildren, Robert Gerald Rock IV, and Lucille Rae Rock. She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband; sister, Harriet Samborski; brother, Lawrence Charko. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.belviderefh.com
